Drivers window intermittent.

I have a 2003 Honda Accord. The drivers power window doesn't always
work. I've tried 4 different switches. The one that actually works is the
original. I can pop it out of the door and it may work and when I push it back
in it doesn't work. Sometimes when I pop it out, it doesn't work. If I turn it
over with the buttons facing down, it works every time. Having the switch
hanging out of the door is not a viable option. Does anyone know of a repair
on these switches or am I stuck buying a new switch?

I took the switch apart and and checked the voltage on the ignition feed terminal and found low voltage. The terminal was spread and twisting the switch would make it make contact.

Check the wiring going from the door to the main body of the vehicle. Especially where it passes through the doorjamb. Those wires are prone to wear and breakage because of the opening and closing of the door over the years. Jim
