Are they any defaults in this model?
To be honest I feel like the car has
less power than it should when
taking off and especially when trying
to pull up a hill.

This car is notorious for problems with age, and a nine year old is really old for a Mini. Most Mini owners don't maintain them well. You need a mechanic to diagnose your car's problems.
