p71 motor in to a 2010 mustang v6 4.0

i have a wrecked 05 p71 moto, trans. all good, i want to know what i would
have to do to put the motor and trans into a 2010 mustang that has a blown v6
4.o in it. I want to keep the mustang gauges but im thinking that i will have to
but the entire car harness into the mustang, so how would i make that work

Putting an older engine & drivetrain into a newer car is never a good idea, too many electronic incompatibilities.

It’s not going to work the way you want it too work. You need a stand alone engine and transmission control unit. Check out Holley for stand alone systems. Then you will have to separate out the main harness for the inputs and outputs for the gauge systems, also not an easy task, you will need a factory electronic diagram for both vehicles to make the comparison and rework. You have set yourself a very big and expensive project.
