Car not accelerating or moving Nissan Altima, 2010

First code was P10388 took it to the shop
they said it was up oxygen sensor, two days
later got another code P1777. Now the car is
not moving forward or backwards. Please help
I do not know what to do.

find another mechanic , It may be hard to find an honest mechanic but that's the world we live in
That's shift control failure to the Transmission Control Module, so with that, the transmission will not shift or enter into any gear, or in a CVT, into any range. So that miserable Nissan CVT is likely toast, too. In good condition, it's probably worth $3,500. So with repairs that will be at least close to that, it's no wonder why a mechanic wouldn't want to work on it. You could turn the car over to a dealer and he'll send it to the auction. But you might get more from a salvage yard or advertising on CoPart.
