would use the electric starter, if present~ the main crank bolt can be accessed without messing with the front bumper~d0 not think that NOT using the built-in starter is such a good idea~

you do not want a crank handle on there, once it starts, can take off "your blasted thumb"~

If the spark plugs are removed and you can reach the crank pulley then it should turn , But who knows with newer cars

This isn't a model T or some 4 cylinder tractor that was designed to be hand cranked. The front pulley has no slots for a hand crank even if you could get in there. Sounds like you haven't thought this trough.

I know there is a spot on the Audi to do so once battery disconnected and spark plugs removed.

If it's a stick shift, get someone to push you and pop the clutch. Jim
