2004 LBZ with an Allison 1000 5 speed wont move.

I have a 2004 LBZ Duramax Allison 1000 5 speed truck was fine. Went to drive
it and the trans will go into gear however will hardly move. Loud clunking noise
when going into drive

Just have it towed to your favorite independent shop and get it checked over. But it sounds like a real budget buster.
