Slip indicator and check engine light on Nissan Altima

I was driving the car jerked really bad and the
slip indicator light and check engine light came
on

When the computer turns on the CEL, it also deactivates traction, stability, and cruise systems. Just have a mechanic check trouble codes and fix it. Might be as simple as a loose/defective gas cap.
