I think the only two bad things about the car is the air conditioning and the fact that it is diesel! The car was in such great shape and drove so well! Jul 16, 2023

The drive is awesome .the car doesn’t even feel like a diesel. She acelerates excellently and get amazing fuel mileage. Plus there is a difference in sport modeJun 24, 2023

It was a base car without any options except a moonroof. The exterior and interior were in good shape and only had signs of minor wear and tear. The car seemed to run okay but appeared to need a tune up and a four-wheel alignment. The car pulled slightly to the right during my test drive. Overall, I felt that the car was slightly over-priced given the limited options and low aesthetic appeal. Ultimately, I purchased another vehicle from another dealership.Mar 03, 2023

I thought it looked and drove great. We didn’t decide to buy it because it was a 2 door and we have 3 kids. There was also a bit of rust above the left front tire. Sep 21, 2021

Great car and amazing experience. Only downside is I found rust where a rubber bar is supposed to be on the front windshield, but the rubber bar is also not there. They said they were cleaning it up, so not sure if that would fall under a priority of theirs or not. Nov 23, 2020

I love the fact that it was filled with all kinds of extras loaded to the gills with HID lights lowered upgraded rims low profile tires great handling an amazing mileage of 42 miles per gallon. A complete thrill to drive!Jan 22, 2015

This TDI is one of my favorite overall cars I've ever owned, VW or not! Also, one of the LAST ones from Wolfsburg, Germany..fully loaded, with tech package, LED's, Bi-Xenon full motion lights..Dyn-Audio Danish 500 Watt AWESOME Stereo..and the SEATS! YES! I could drive this thing ALL DAY!May 25, 2014

VW's over the years have had a bad reputation for reliability. I can honestly say, I was always skeptical of those claims. My TDI has been the paragon of reliablilty and overall quality. The interior wouldn't be out of place in an Audi. Very comfortable seats, great driving position and superior ergonomics. The only driving complaint I have is a slightly soft brake pedal. The brakes work great just need to be a little firmer. Wind noise has been a complaint of the MKVI Golfs, GTI's. This really is my only knock on the car. I would definitely recommend any of the Golf variants to anyone wanting a fun, practical and economical vehicle.Feb 19, 2013

The VW Golf TDI is a turbo diesel that blows hybrid cars out of the water. Don't trust the EPA ratings on this car. My average MPG on fuelly is currently 51.2 MPG and this car is absolutely effortless to drive and a bundle of fun as well. It handles the corners remarkably well and its high torque pulls the car strongly. I thought my Mazdaspeed3 was the best all around car but the VW Golf TDI dethrones it in my eyes. The VW Golf TDI is the best commuter vehicle period because it doesn't feel like you are driving a commuter vehicle but it sips fuel like a commuter vehicle. Jul 21, 2012

Performance - Awesome. Acceleration 8/10, Braking 9/10, Handling 9/10
Build Quality - Solid. "Sounds like a Golf" and the diesel engine roars like a lion,
but only sounds like a purr from the inside. ^_^
Appearance - Silver. Nice and shiny. Just wanted it in a more "exciting" colour.
Cost of ownership - Done about 26000 miles in less than a year. (I am a
travelling salesman) Maintenance - only changed a tyre once due to a puncture
by a nail.
Fun Factor - Nippy, fast on the acceleration and looks very cool to top it all off.

Powerful yet efficient engine, great to drive everyday as well as for fun. Sharp at turns and corners. Extremely reliable with the DSG gearbox. If theres something I would go against it, maybe thats the price. I love it so much!Jan 09, 2012

its a diesel so great gas milage great torque and some power. and the turbo is so fun to play with. but diesel has a bunch of upsides to it and it has grate reliability. german cars run forever if you take care of them. but the one upside and down side is its a dieselNov 17, 2011

It's all good, enough power for most but also delivers a genuine 70
mpg, nav system is great and incorporating a hard drive for music and
a great Bluetooth phone.
The car looks great and goes well, the handling isn't the best but hey

this is a great car. The car has a great weight/bhp ratio, a great look and handling.
the only draw back is the maintenance cost and fuel economy. It's a very fun car

I think VW TDI are great cars to use in countries with high fuel prices, such as Europe. In such cases, diesel is the only option to drive without spending a fortune. Within diesel engines VAG TDI's are among the best: low diesel comsumption and many horse power!Sep 18, 2011

It's a german well built car. The driving is excellent and the road control is
great. It's a nice half way between sport and town car. Good car for VW
engineering lover. This vehicle comes in many options group and the

Performance: good performance, good handling
Maintenance: low maintenance
Overall satisfaction is a vehicle.
There is sufficient capacity in the style of a hatchback trunk.
However, in Korea by maintaining high maintenance and fuel injectors due to the
problem,

Best build quality ever. Makes the latest Passat look one
generation older in interior and total build quality. Excellent
comfort, and far better driving skills than earlier models. Only
lacking is engine power, but the latest GTD, GTi and cumming

I like the car overall, the car is accelerates well but is not that fast with the 1.6TDI 90Bhp. Steering is not that direct but could be due to the eco tyres. It is a very quiet car and you only hear the engine if you really rev it. Very nice car to drive, for a base model, it definitely feels like an expensive car. Oct 03, 2009

This is where the money was spent - and you really do notice it. The new interior is lovely, and the quality is up 20-percent. Everything is more damped, quieter, better finished. And all this while being cheaper to build than the mkV? Good going.Sep 22, 2009

Il like very much the exterior styling. With this brand new model Wolkswagen has met again the golf identity. TDI engine is can garantee an economical combined fuel consumption of just 4.5 l/100km and CO2 emissions of only 119 g per kilometres.Aug 21, 2009

The Golf is a nice car... Fast, reliable, comfy, drives well. Looks amazing, Interior is top notch. Can be expensive enough to drive. Loves its fuel. It definately has the fun factor. A good family car, if it had back doors is suppose ha ha Aug 19, 2009
