Its a hybrid. Very different to drive. The back windshield on this particular car had some kind of divider, making it hard to see. Its also made where backing up is difficult the way the car is made. Your view is obstructed. If you like a quiet ride, this isnt it. If you like a car that kicks in, this isnt it. Its very fuel efficient for sure but for highway driving it crawls to get to highway speeds and I was only driving at speeds of 50mph. I probably still wouldve bought it if not for that back windshield. Nice car but not for me.May 06, 2024

Bought this model new in 2012. It was a workhorse. Made it to 310,000 miles, regularly carrying heavy loads. The engine and battery were still getting me everywhere every day when the subframe rusted out. Wish I hadnt changed out the suspension in the 250,000 mile range, because I think the new suspension put extra stress on the frame. Changed the oil every 5,000 instead of the 10,000 recommended because, what the heck, its cheap insurance. Car never used oil. It just ran. Only weird thing is the brake calipers kept seizing up. Replaced four calipers total over the life of the car. The pads and rotors lasted longer than the calipers. Small price to pay for such a reliable vehicle.Feb 04, 2024

Toyota Prius C’s dash board and the control setting panel is very crowded compared with the regular Toyota Prius. This particular car that I looked at appeared to be good from outside at the first glance, but had good amount of rust on the wheel rotors and drums,. There was rust under the hood, as well as on the support bars of the rear hatch. The braking would create abnormally high pitched sound. Like every other car in the Toyota Prius C family, this car too had problem to quickly accelerate from zero to 30 mph. Not a good value for money, in my opinion.Oct 20, 2022

I had a 2012 Toyota Prius c Three that was totaled in an accident. I really liked the car and had not been planning on getting anything until it was not worth the expense to repair. Ive had this 2013 Toyota Prius c Four for almost two weeks now and it has a couple more bells and whistles than the Three inc. seat warmers, better sound system, pleather seats and alloy wheels. It also has all of the features of my Three which I loved, sunroof, navigation/bluetooth, push start and keyless entry. Im starting off pretty much where I left off mileage-wise at around 100,000 miles and hope to see this care last me another 3-5 years. I only wish it was a little better-equipped for the snow since I live in Colorado, but for as small as it is it does pretty well, you cant expect 4wd SUV performance from a FWD compact hybrid.Feb 10, 2021

This 2016 Prius C Four has all the right features like a back-up camera, navigation, leather seats, and a sunroof...However, I’m surprised it doesn’t have a pre-collision system, nor lane departure warning, which is a bumper because those are very useful safety features to have for the top trim. This car is compact yet spacious for its class, which I really like. It handles well and is very easy to park especially with the back-up cam. Overall, it’s a great value if you’re looking for a car of this size. What more can I say other than that it’s a fuel-efficient hybrid from Toyota. It’s the cutest thing on the road. Dec 22, 2020

I like this car because of the mpg, I chose it because I travel a lot in car so I needed a good mpg car and I found this one as one of the best. I used this car mostly for trips and going to work, every 350miles around there I put gas for only $25. This car is very enjoyable because it has everything that I need it. Navigation system, excellent mpg, and many others. The only this I would improve about this car is the speed, but everything else is good.Feb 04, 2014
