Good solid car to replace Hyundai Santa Fe that was totaled from Hurricane Helene. The 4 cylinder is peppy and for the first tank, getting great gas mileage. It will be easier on the wallet and goes farther on an 18 gallon tank than the Santa Fe. Oct 29, 2024

I came from a 2009 Nissan Murano SL AWD. This outback has so many fancy features! I love the blind spot monitors, the automatic braking, adaptive cruise, lane detection, etc. Only things Im missing from my Murano are my toe hitch, my 6 CD changer, and buttons in the truck to lift the back seats for me. I loved the incredibly smooth ride. It had good visibility and nice features. The seats were very comfortable there is more than enough for front and back seat passengers. The trunk space is huge!May 30, 2024

These Outbacks come with ample legroom for tall drivers, with long legs (me). Great visibility and the ground clearance of the traditional SUVs, CRVs, RAV4S, ET.C. The clincher for me is the AWD. Skip the snow tires if you live in the GTA. Thats a grift by tire industry! Car construction is great; produced in the US. Built like Toyotas!!Apr 24, 2024

This model had just enough features to be safe but not enough to be overwhelming in transition to driving it. The only thing missing was USB plug ins for the back seat passengers.Feb 07, 2024

Excellent car,it has the 3.6 in it,It tows my trailers effortlessly. Its incredible in the snow.We have had an Impreza,and 2 Foresters,all have been excellent, but the Outback is by far our favorite. Other than oil changes tires and brakes repairs have been limited to wheel bearing on the Impreza,after 16 years of owning it.One of the best cars around in my opinion, and Ive been a mechanic since 1976Jun 17, 2023

My husband is 6’4” and headroom was a must. The seats are extremely comfortable, and the car is very quiet. I am nearing 60 this year, and have owned many vehicles over the years. My Subaru, Outback, hands-down, is my favorite vehicle to date. Apr 12, 2023

The Subaru Outback 3.6R is the absolute best iteration of the Outback. Test driven model years 2013, 2015 & 2019 and the Outback just gets better and better. If you can find a 3.6R Limited trim level, be quick to snatch it up before I do -- LOL! I truly believe this wagon is worth every penny.Jul 10, 2022

Bought the 3.6R and absolutely love it. It isnt perfect to everyone but it definitely surprises them to know that its a Subaru. It also ticks all the boxes I require. I kayak fish A LOT so the utility is there, it has black leather and a black exterior so it can be snooty when needed, it has the power so that Get up and go, desire is fulfilled tick, it has technology so my techy fetish is fulfilled........I could go on and on about this vehicle because it surprised me from the get-go. It’s my first time getting a Subaru and an Outback. It’s the limited and it drives very nice, I’m actually very impressed with how well it feels. We have 3 kids ages 11, 9, 5 and they fit in the back just fine. I like how I still feel somewhat off the ground but yet get the car gas mileage. I’d say it compares to my Highlander we had just no 3rd row.Jun 06, 2021

It does everything well. Seats five, great in the rain and snow, some offroad capability but comfortable on the highway. Lots of cargo space, especially with the seats folded flat. We own two!Apr 06, 2021

I bought the Premium model as a replacement for my 2012 Outback. My 2018 has navigation and moon roof. Car is awesome. Drives and shifts more smoothly than the older one. Not that much acceleration getting on the freeway but adequate. I like all the safety features (blind spot detection, back up camera, lane detection, etc.). Ill be keeping this car until self-driving cars are the standard. Mar 24, 2021

I believe that the car has many nice features to enjoy, but will have to learn and acquire the knowledge as how to use these features as time permits. I want to be better and more comfortable knowing where everything is after driving Hondas for more than 30 years, this is my 1st SubaruJan 15, 2021

Just bought a 2018 Outback Touring. It is quiet, smooth ride, the V6 has the power that V4 versions lack, which means I would never buy the smaller engine. Love the larger screen on the navigation system. The safety features actually saved us money on our auto insurance and we are paying less for the 2018 Outback than the 2012 Accord V6 we own. The visibility is another great aspect of the Outback. Getting into and out of the Outback is much easier with its higher clearance. While I have only had it a short time, I have really enjoyed driving it and look forward to learning about all the new features available. Aug 08, 2020

The 2019 Premium is a great riding ,easy to handle, spacious vehicle. The Eyesight feature adds much to the safety as does the collision avoidance braking.May 26, 2020
