Cost of replacing the camera and the unusual electrical connections making it difficult to find an aftermarket replacement with O.E.M. plug'n'play. Otherwise the exterior finish has stayed very good with great eye appeal. Paint has retained its original luster. No rattles or squeaks after 7 years and nearly 70k miles. No real outstanding maintenance issues outside routine maintenance and the large diameter hose between the air filter and the "throttle" tending to separate causing motor run issues. Convex mirrors attached to the side view mirrors solved blind spot problems. Very comfortable power to weight ratio, great road handling and respectable braking even when towing an 2400 lb. boat/trailer setup. Love the vehicle and would buy it again!!Jan 14, 2015

I love the fact it drives more like a car than a bulky SUV or truck. It has been very reliable for 9 years. Paint still looks new. Leather has cracked a little. This is a very solid vehicle that looks almost new after 9 years.Jan 08, 2015

Very good family compact Suv. Good sound system with Sub woffers (Bose System). Love that everything is powered. Great Features, Leather seating, large 18" wheels and the all wheel drive really help. Also a very comfortable car with heated seats, automatic climate control, power adjustable pedals and a sunroof. Excellent space in the back too.

This car has everything you could want. Stock includes 18" rims, pwr windows/mirrors/locks. Ours also has fog lights, leather seats, heated front seats and side view mirrors, and a sun roof. This is one of the only cars we saw with 4 wheel disc brakes, and believe me they work great.
This has been one of the best SUVs I've ever driven. It rides and handles like a car, but has better clearence than many other SUVs. With the AWD on my rig, we never have any issues with the snowy roads of northeastern Washington.
There are really only 3 cons to this car, but they all are common. 1. Gas mileage isn't great. However, for this year all SUVs were either worse or about the same. It just can't compare to brand new SUVs. 2. Repairs are expensive. We had to replace a high pressure power sterring hose when we purchased it. The total cost was a little over $500. Remember that this is a luxury vehicle though. You would expect to pay the same if not more for a BMW, Mecedes, or Audi. 3. Purchase cost is often high. Again its a luxury vehicle, so no surprise. Its also a very popular car, so there's a lot of demand. In my area they were selling for around $20k when I purchased. I was able to go to another area and get it for just $13k. Jul 27, 2012

Very practical and comfortable. It provides the performance of a luxury Sport utility vehcle with a gas millage comparable to a car. It basically is the perfect choice for a family looking for a bigger space without compromising style. It handles very well both on the freeway and off-road, the optional all wheel drive comes in handy if you are looking to drive it off-road. Very Very nice looking with a satisfactory performance. Best SUV for the money.Mar 14, 2012

Had since brand new in 2004. Have taken on several trips, from snow skiing in New Mexico (Taos & Sante Fe) to sandy beaches in the gulf and love it! Even though not all wheel drive, did not have any problems in the snow and ice or the sand, it is great! Even pulls my trailer with my john deere riding lawn mower! Fully loaded with moonroof, dvd player, leather seats and awesome bose sound system including subwoofer. Many trips to Austin, TX, have me racking up 148,000 on the odometer, but other than the usual maintenance, have not had any problems. Recently fixed a noise problem coming from the rear door latch (was driving me crazy), simply added some electrical tape to the metal latch and NO MORE NOISE! Yay! Love those simple little fixes! Plan to keep forever! Feb 01, 2012

Very nice looking car, the best part of this car is that i can start the engine without using the key, and the key memorized the seat position of the key holder. The only thing that i don't like about this car is the wind noise. Loud wind noise make the Bose speaker useless.Sep 04, 2008

I decided to look at the Murano because I had originally been looking at the Infiniti FX35 but that only comes in leather. I didn't want leather for Hawai'i, so I test-drove the Murano and fell in love immediately...the interior is huge. Great head and leg room for me (5'9") and my husband (6'1") in the front. The back is gigantic and the back seats even recline! So much space for moving stuff and going to the beach with friends. Decent stock stereo. Love this car...it's beautiful...Jun 03, 2008

A great overall mid-size SUV. No complaints except for the old school info screen and lack of rear view camera. Besides that it is an excellent car.Feb 19, 2008

My Mom has a Top of the line Nissan Murano. This thing is loaded. Heated mirrors and leather seats, bose sound, air filter, power everything, large sun/moon roof, 6 disc in dash CD player, and my favorite...the memory seating. The thing that really won we over was the way this car handles. You have the room and comfort that and SUV has, but you get the power and feel of a sports car when your driving it. The Murano goes with a tap on the gas. This is backed by its standard 3.5L V6 engine that puts out a impressive 275 horepower. That is more than the lexus Rx330 and its cousin the highlander, and the Honda pilot. With that comes an estimated 24 miles per gallon on the highway. When the weather usn't so hot, the AWD system and all season tires can get you through some of the worst conditions. When your not worried about the weather, the Murano has a quick response and amazing pick-up. Its turns smooth as it hugs the road. Personally I think this is the best car for the money. It will be completely redesigned for 2009 and should be avalable for purchase or order today.Jan 08, 2008
