Nothing compares to the Outlander. The most durable and lasting vehicle, I had. Nov 30, 2022

the 2003 and 2004 models are very similar. This replacement from a collision will be easy to adjust to. The make made me believe that another vehicle would have sustained more damage and I would have been more seriously injured.Jul 30, 2022

Perfect package for roominess, economy and durability. Durable and powerful 4 cyl. Engines and transmissions hold up with the best. Mits was way ahead of everybody when they came out with this product. '04 and newer has the more powerful engines.May 08, 2013

I like the look of this car. It's super comfortable. The interior is laid out in a very easy and natural manner. Everything flows visually and functions well, which I like. There are so many bins and pockets in this car, and the compartments in the back for the spare tire, jack and jumper cables are easy to get to. It doesn't have any noises. Such a quiet ride. It sits a little higher, which I like, but it's not a giant truck by any-means. No blind spots. Didn't have to bring it to the shop all that often, just the usual check up, and when I did, everything was fine. The gas mileage was super great and runs on the cheap gas. The car has some pep. I had no trouble using it in all sorts of traffic. Although it's no race car, I've always thought of it as having plenty of power, even up the hills in Seattle. The handling is great. Point and go. The brakes have really lasted. Last time I brought it in for service they said the brakes were still good. It's super fun car to drive and very safe for my family, which gives me piece of mind. All the great features of this car came standard. I have no need for 4x4 and not having AWD makes it more efficient. For being just a LS, I couldn't be more pleased. It's a great car. Mitsubishi hit it's mark with this one. Aug 13, 2012

Great small SUV. Great for hauling my consignment shop finds, furniture, groceries, etc.
Looks great, handles great, LOVE the heated leather seats. Great in snow. Lots of room for family. great car for sports-minded. Great to be able to buy things at Home Depot and get it home. The only thing that doesn't fit is plywood- but an be tied on top.Jan 29, 2012

LOVED THIS CAR, was just to small for our growing family. When it was full with baby and pets not quite enough room for us, but was perfict before baby. Good gas milage in town not the bast out of town when it was fully loaded with stuff.Sep 25, 2010

Excellent performance (please note that this is an AirTrek Turbo, and not the NA version). Good handling for an SUV. Sleeper car since no one expects it to run so quickly. Overall build quality is... well.... Mitsubishi level... No need to consider if you're concerned about fuel consumption....Jul 04, 2010

Performance- she knows when to put down when she needs too.
Build Quality- The front lights will crack on all of these models. Everyone i seen had crack headlights. No other problems so far.
Appearance- gas mileage is pretty good, everything is fresh to death! Just get that oil change and car wash and you'll be fine.
Fun Factor- This car is fun to drive, you can take it on the beach or just drive around town. It drives smooth and im going to get the new GT version when i graduate! Its also fun with you got 2 12" subs in the back!May 20, 2010

Reliable never let me down in 6 years...but performance was no that amazing for a 2.4 litre engine. But been an amazing companion for all long trips around UAE. The fuel economy was not that great but managable..Parts were expensive.Dec 06, 2009

Its AWD but handels like a car low centre of gravity. Has plenty of power never feels under powered. Could have a bit more storage compartment in the back. Build feel solid and reliable. Design and layout all good. As mentioned could have a bit more storeage compatments in the rear.Aug 23, 2009

Comfortable ride, good power. A major problem with the right front axle couple of years ago, repaired and has been good since then. Headlight covers have stress fractures which have never been on recall list but should have been. Cost to replace both is astronomical. Front end stays in line. No tire wear other than normal wear. Gas mileage was 21 in town when new, now averages about 17 in town.Feb 11, 2009

Got a great deal on the car. I like the nice interior. It has plenty of power for a 4 cylinder. It handles great, more like a car than an suv. It is a great value for the money. It's also my favorite color combination, blue with gray two tone. It is pretty roomy for a compact suv/crossover.Oct 07, 2008

its my mom's car... but anyway, very reliable given mitsu's rep. decent low end torque (may need a little planning when passing at low speeds, tho), handles much more like a car rather than an SUV, and we have never gotten below 22MPG (mostly city driving, too).the outlander is good alternative to competitors like the RAV-4 and CR-V. I love my Outlander and wouldn't trade it in for the world. You can't beat the gas milage and I think that my SUV does better than my previously owned Chrysler Sebring! It's great for the cost, traveling, going anywhere with the 2 dogs, or just running to the grocery store! Aug 03, 2008

This gets much better gas mileage than my Dodge Ram did. Its not too big or small. The four of us fit in here and have room for other belongings. The All wheel drive holds the road well.

Fuel consumption! 9.5km/litre combined cycle is just too much when oil is at US$140/barrel.Jun 18, 2008

4 cylinder engine has adequate power for this small suv. interior has little signs of wear and overall the car still cleans up, shines and looks real sharp. good quality leather,an excellent sound system, sunroof, roof rack, and privacy glass all standard. only cost 22,000 with a 5 year 60,000 mile warranty (bumper to bumper). service at my dealer is excellent, always treated very well.
