Comfortable and attractive car, with excellent gas mileage and some zip. Only complaints would be the lack of backup camera and dated Bluetooth. Neither are a huge deal. Manual gearbox is pleasant.May 15, 2024

When my Honda died some 10 years ago or so, I somehow stumbled upon the Mazda3 (I think it was the Car & Driver reviews), and bought one. That car is the most fabulous car in its price range that I have ever driven. I adored it. I bought a 2008 sGT, and drove it with nothing but the greatest pleasure until it gave up its life for me about a month ago. There will be no coming back from this injury, but I promise you, I am currently looking for this car, and ONLY this car, for my next car, and however many next cars I have after this one. The car that I purchased was a good value. Everything works well and it has a comfortable ride. The manual transmission is buttery smooth and I have enjoyed driving it. So far…. So good!Oct 13, 2023

The car has great features and is in very good condition. Was also looking at Honda civics and Toyota corollas.

Fun to drive, tight steering, and comfy interior for front seats. Backseats are VERY compact and uncomfortable. 6 speed manual drove exactly as it should have, though a little tricky to properly meet rpm’s from 1st to 2nd gear. Gets up to speed very quickly after that. Vehicle feels like it wants to go quick. 65 mph felt like 45. Big fan of the heads up display and knob-controlled entertainment system. I love this Mazda! Im giving it a 4, though, as the USBs are underpowered so they barely charge the phone, which is true of all these year Mazdas, nor does it have GPS navigation. There is an upgrade package which bumps up the USB power and adds support for Android Auto and Apple Car fur around $500. Id give this car a 5 if they had that as standard.Jun 12, 2022

A 2016 Mazda3 is an economic, but spunky little auto that rates high both in reliability and fun. Bonus features increases its desirability. Great maneuverability. Breaking a 35-year Honda Civic habit to enjoy this relatively unknown model. Jan 31, 2022

Fabulous car . . . lots of features make it a value for money pick. And not just features: its style and stance on the road is impressive - handles well and is a solid all around vehicle.
Beyond that, it is SAFE. This 2018 Mazda 3 is a replacement for my PREVIOUS 2018 Mazda 3, which was totaled shortly after purchase when a guy ran a red light and plowed into me. Car was destroyed . . . I literally walked away unscathed.
The car protected me from serious injury (or worse). It was only natural to try to replace our 2018 Mazda 3 with ANOTHER 2018 Mazda 3, and we were fortunate enough to be able to do that. Cannot say enough good things about this amazing vehicle.Sep 07, 2021

I like the sporty feel to the Mazda 3. Tech features are very good on the touring and grand touring comes with some additional upgrades and comes with a moonroof. Mazda still makes their cars with a traditional automatic transmission no CVT.Mar 21, 2021

This car is great! Visually highly appealing, interior is well designed and user friendly. Drives as smooth as any economy car and yet as powerful as most sports cars. Features make the car fun to drive and seemingly like a luxury car. Couldnt have asked for more! Feb 20, 2021

I love the Mazda 3, I have only had it 3 days but my gas mileage is in the high 30s. Ii is very zippy the and easy to maneuver through tight traffic. The Navigation system has taken me a little time to get used to. Overall, a very solid little car. It is rated 5 stars for crash rating as well. Jun 29, 2020
