Hyundai Sonata (2011 - 2013) Reviews, Pricing & Specs

The features were great…, in fact, I only went to go see it because it was a limited version so fully loaded. Plus, The real attraction was the 28 mpg. The sunroof, and leather are nice, plus I like the keyless entry, push to start, proximity keys, and radio controls / cruise control on the steering wheel. It had it all. So, with no rust under the carriage, and a reliability rating of 4.5 out of 5 I bought it. Fingers crossed! Jun 20, 2022

This car is one of the best cars Ive owned. Its a very smooth ride for an older vehicle and I have the 2.0 turbo, so its really fast and fun. The only thing Im not a fan of is it does have loud cabin noise, but its not the worst offender that Ive encountered. My Sonata has black leather seats, both front and back seats are heated, Bluetooth, and a really awesome sound system (Infinity). Great car!Apr 14, 2022

Three years ago I rented a 2012 Sonata for a trip. After spending a week with the car, I knew that I would eventually buy one. That finally happened about four months ago. With the help of Car Gurus, I found a great deal on a 2013 Sonata at a dealership near my home. The vehicle handles very well, and it has decent acceleration. The brakes are strong. The ride is good and noise levels are not bad. I have been averaging fuel economy in the mid 30s with a mix of city and highway driving. The seats are comfortable and interior fit and finish is good. The vehicle came with loads of features, such as power windows and locks, cruise control, USB port, Bluetooth and satellite ready radio. My issues with this vehicle are more annoyances than problems. At times I cannot set the cruise control unless I press the cancel button and hold it for 5-10 seconds. I have also had issues with screen freezes on the sound system when it is playing CDs.Sep 16, 2015

First of all, i'd like to say it's missing a pedal. Argh... A new car.... Sorry, they replaced it by shift paddles. Oh, yeah, a new toy !! Performance wise, nice ride, smooth shifting in auto mode (will shift around 2000 rpm). Will shift at 5900 rpm when kicking the floor (still in auto) ........uhm.... start being interesting .... Nice looking, the 18 inches wheels make the difference. Double pipes exhaust. Fine leather, really updraded for 2011. Good front seats for that type of car, something i'm really looking at when i buy a car. Also realy impress by rear ones with plenty of room for the legs. I'm 6 feet tall and i'm driving with seat all the way back. To get same, you would need to pay 10k $ more for a Japanese car, 20k $ more for a German one or pay same for an American one and....... no comments. USB hard to reach espacially at night, would have placed an LED to help locate the port. In dash CD changer useless (got an 16Gb USB key !!)Jul 01, 2011
