I was already familiar with Hyundai Santa Fes. I think Hyundai offers more for the money compared to other models...at least for now. Until they become popular.
Other comparable models are other mid-dized SUVs such as Toyota Hylander, Ford Explorer, Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Equinox, Subaru Forester, Nissan Pathfinder, Honda Passport, Honda CR-V....
For me, I do not care about the gadgets and exxtra, I only care about reliability and getting the best used car value for the money. So the Santa Fe is more than I need. If I was driving around the city I would look at the Santa Fe Sport. For a general mid-range the Santa Fe SE. For a little more style and comfort thecSanta Fe Ultimate LimitedMay 21, 2024

I was already familiar with Hyundai Santa Fes. I think Hyundai offers more for the money compared to other models...at least for now. Until they become popular.

Two days before thanksgiving my fiancée and I hydroplaned and ended up flipping twice. We landed on our wheels and the car was still running, no gas or oil smell, and we both walked away with scratches, bruises, a good case of whiplash, and old injuries that were aggravated. The roof had been pushed in to touch my head and the door airbags deployed but it was still technically fixable, and we were safe. I absolutely plan on staying with the Santa Fe for as long as I’m able. Dec 03, 2023

FYI These cars are packed with features + tech and it’s really cool when everything works. I bought a used 2017 “Ultimate Limited” Hyundai Santa Fe FWD that’s loaded and fun to drive. If you’re buying used, beware that some of the BlueLink tech features won’t work on some models because they rely on 2G or 3G cellular which is being discontinued. I’m not seeing anywhere that Hyundai is trying to fix that problem and folks posting on their forums are really upset about it.May 24, 2022

This is an excellent choice for me. It had all the features I wanted and it was the best value when compared to the Acura MDX or the Mazda CX9 which were the only other mid size crossovers with a third row seat. Most other vehicles were larger and didnt have a smooth ride. We ended up buying a Toyota Highlander because the seats in the Santa Fe were too narrow for my husband. May 12, 2021

This car handles very well. Brakes are good and its quiet inside but for me it has to be the whole enchilada. The car didnt feel comfortable in the drivers seat. Hubby said it had good leg room for him but for me I just felt like I was driving someone elses car. Sep 13, 2020

Love the technology and the panoramic roof. The front and back seat heated captains chairs are great! Heated steering wheel is a bonus in the winter too. Has the 3rd row option which is great when family visits. The backup camera has been a life saver.Apr 22, 2015
