Every time that I drive it, it is impossible to not smile when I step on the gas. Every single drive is fun and I cherish every moment that I have to drive the car. The supercharger whine never gets old!Jul 29, 2013

I love the power and handling of this beast. I will upgrade to the same year cobra (terminator.) Because of the love I have for this body style. I owned a 2010 gt but sold it after 3 months I had no desire for the new body style. I have had my 03 gt for over a year now, and still love it as the day I bought it. I plan on keeping my gt and acquiring a cobra at the same time.Jul 18, 2013

I love everything about this car. It wouldn't be for sale if I could afford to keep both vehicles. I purchased it for my daughters graduation gift (due to the fact it was a one owner) from a local female who sold it due to the fact she needed more room. My daughter is now a new mother, and this vehicle is not infant friendly.Apr 06, 2013

This car is pure american muscle. great acceleration, good handling, and very good braking. The exterior is clean, sleek, and looks like it's fast. Gas mileage isn't that bad if you drive right... which i don't, and it's not very high maintenance even though I make it seem that way (i baby it). Very fun car to drive Feb 03, 2011

Performance: for a automatic it accelerates well, the brakes work well. I have
after market springs on it so it handles amazingly well.
Build Quality: It has needed a few repairs like any older car does. Over all
though its a great car and is built really well!
Appearance:the interior is nothing great its very nice and cozy i guess you
would say. Everything is within easy reach of the driver and its comfortable.
Exterior I love the look of my car its not the best i guess you would say but its
nice. Smooth lines :)
Cost: I get 23 or 24 to the gallon when I'm driving normal and maintenance is
easy when you work on it yourself.
Fun: This car is really fun to drive I love it!

Strait from the factory this machine puts out 310 hp, and 335 lb/ft tq. at the crank. Acceleration is pretty impressive, it will pull hard from 0-130mph. The car comes stock with sub frame connectors so off the line you will have no problem hooking up. This car comes standard with the cobra brake system so when you need to stop on a dime it'll do nothing short of that. As far as purchasing aftermarket parts for this car, bolt-ons will not really do awhole lot other than make the car louder. I already have almost 2k into my car. Steeda CAI, Steeda Underdrive pulleys, Steeda tri-ax short throw shifter, Bassani O/R x-pipe, Borla Stingers cat-back exhuast, and a Diablosport Predator Tuner. To be honest, the only thing that I have noticed a power gain from was the tuner. What this car really needs is forced induction, i.e. a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous. I have required no repairs since I have owned the mach. Although my 3rd gear sychronyzer is starting to go, and my clutch is starting to slip a little bit. However I do push her pretty hard on the weekends and at the track. The interior is pretty simple, the black leather seats are very comfortable. Exterior is very unique and stylish. I have been known to get 26+ mpgs on the highway. As far as city driving goes, you better be ready to pay, not to mention the car requires 91 or higher octane. The fun factor is always there, put it this way, you will never hear me say that this car is not fun to drive. Jul 12, 2010

One of the cleaner designs of the late model Mustangs. No gingerbread or unnecessary wings, spoilers, or the hideous "running boards" found on the other models. I added a Cobra IRS and 2001 Cobra 4 cam engine, so it runs and handles a bit better than it did stock. Very enjoyable car to drive on a daily basis. Dec 19, 2009

It is an amazing car all around. Its very sleek looking! For the price, its done more than enough for me on Friday nights on empty streets with a few friends or challengers. I have an amazing pipe job on it so i wouldn't recommend public street racing, as you will attract every cop within 5 miles. :) Dec 13, 2009

Best car I've had so far. Gets decent gas mileage for a V8 and great performance for the money. Insurance is a bit expensive. The car is a blast to drive and looks great. The stock shifter is a bit sluggish so I would suggest a short-throw. Nov 02, 2009

Got the v6 b/c the GT didn't provide that much better performance for the upcharge in price. Decided to use the money elsewhere (cobra spoiler, side exhaust, 17" cobra rims & 255/45 all around, white guages, K&N filter, side scoops & louvers, and paint black mirrors to match car).
I had a lot of fun with my v6 5-speed. Having had 86SVO, 87LX5.0, & 88GTConvt previously, I enjoyed the antilock disk brakes and the lack of the monster v8 infront during hard cornering, but I missed the raw power.
Thankfully the 3.8l blew it's headgasket right on cue @ 75K miles. Such a problem that ford started to cover this under "warranty" if pressed. I chose to take this oppertunity to modify the engine affordably. I thought about 5.0 swaps but didn't want the weight out front again. I had the uper and lower intakes cleaned & polished, a minor valve job, upgraded head gaskets, bigger feul injectors, fuel pump, and a performance computer chip. Added to this was a 3.55 rear and trac-loc from a junked v8.
I knew my mechanic had done well when I showed-up and he offered to buy the car from me. This thing was FAST, really fast! And cornered impressivle for a car 5yrs old w/ +75K originally costing less than $16K.
This was a great car as long as you understood that driving hard can cause problems and cost money. I was sad to see it go. This mustang turned out to be the best bang for the buck of any I had, which says something starting with less and using aftermarket to finish up YOUR Mustang.Aug 27, 2009

The 1995 Ford Mustang is an incredibly made car. It
was the last Mustang GT made with a 5.0 Engine and
for my taste, the last beautiful mustang made. This is
one of the funnest rides i have ever driven as it
doesn't have any type of assists and is pure energy.Jun 30, 2009

It was cheap. Its fast. Classic V8 Sound.... and Torque!
The mod options are endless. Personally beat 350Zs,
G35s, Cobalt SS, new Charger R/T, and a 4th Gen
Camaro Z28....all with minor bolt ons.... not to
mention its been very reliable. Jun 19, 2009

Powerful and stylish, it was easily the best choice for the
money. If you were looking for a sporty car that seated four
passengers (four adults if all in shape) and was a smooth ride.
i give this vehicle a five star rating and hope to see a model
like this return.Jun 19, 2009

This is the most amazing car ever! I love this thing to death! With 200 Horsepower, rear wheel drive, and performance tires this car just flies! This car is so fun to drive and having a stick shift makes it all the better! I love how it feels, runs, sounds, and moves! It is simply AMAZING!Mar 29, 2009

-Performance: the acceleration is ok when you get past about 20mph the car becomes pritty quick with a 3.8L motor, braking is good, with the low-pros it hugs the curves vary well
-build Quality: since i have owned it i have only put in new rear shocks and the usual ball joints.
-appearance: the pain is a beautiful red, nice and shiny! and you can tell by just looking at the pic. On the inside i painted the trim and center consol red insted of being all black and it really made it look good.
-Cost of ownership: the gas mailage is pritty good to me considering the gas hog i had befor was a 351 windsor bronco with 12-13 MPG. i think im getting aroung 20MPG witht he stang. the only maintenance is the oil changes, washing the car, and recharging the K&N air filter
-Fun factor: Vary fun! looks and drive awsome!Mar 17, 2009

Only dislike is the fact that I dislike that I don't have the money to drop a KB Supercharger, Lambo doors, HID lights, Dual stripes, Cobra R front bumper, Cobra R wing, Mach 2 hood and Cobra front and rear slotted disc brakes 13F/11R
Performance- acceleration is very good, braking a little scary coming down from 90 mph for a 90 degree left turn, handling is solid
Build Quality-its a Ford, a little squeaks, window motor replaced, biggest thing is keeping the engine healthy.
Appearance-Just look at her
Cost of Ownership-Its a sport car, maintenance can get expensive and gas is high, but really fun to drive
Fun Factor-raced and won over a S2000, G35, Turbo Civic and Eclipse. Mazda 8 won't even try. Have done 110mph on the 134!Feb 27, 2009

Well its not the greatest mustang but its good, the acc. is decent, needs a new clutch, the handling is great has 185 tires in the back and 175 in front, cold air intake 70 mm throtle body trick flow intake, headers
the body is decent, has some scratches on it interior is decent, and this car is just plain fun to drive around...Dec 22, 2008

performance is good, handles like its on rails, which surprised me considering the aging live rear axle. 0-60 in around 5 flat ran the 1/4 mile in 13.7 at 101 when it was stock. Great subtle looks, Breaks are amazing because of the upgraded cobra brakes that come standard with the bullitt. I own number 2735Dec 14, 2008

Balls to the wall acceleration, although no traction whatsoever from my Sumitomos. Definately need drag radials. Great paint job. Lowered, agressive stance. Black deep dish American Racing Rims. Trickflow heads, Ford Racing Cam, BBK Headers, MSD Distributor and ignition coil, BBK 75 mm throttle body, CAI, X-pipe, no cats/dumps, HO intake manifold w/ BBK spacer, Crane Cams roller rockers, 411 gears, BBK fuel pressure regulator, BBK 255 fuel pump, and a hell of a clutch to bring it all together. I bought this car in June of 2007 with 29,000 miles on it. It was built in August of 2003. It has a 3.8L (232 ci) V6. It produces 193 horsepower and 225 lbs/ft torque. It also came with a 5 speed manual transmission. It produces enough power to be a fun little car, that can easily be daily drive and still look nice. Also there is a large after market for the Mustang that allows for easy customization of the car. The breaks are sufficient along with the handling though some say its too floaty for a sports car. This is fixed on the GT model. Acceleration is quick with 2nd gear at 55, 4th at 115. The car tops out at 125+ mph with the governor off. The quality is good. Everything is tactile, though cheap. The radio is decent, and the seats are comfortable though fitting more than 4 in the car becomes difficult. The trunk is decent as well, not offer too much room but enough for a pair of golf bags. Like any Ford it does not like the winter or the cold. It squeaks though those are easily tuned out by the engine. The only repairs it has needed was a new serpentine belt at 60,000 miles, and of course regular oil changes Appearance is classic American Muscle coupe
with a long hood and short rear deck and spoiler. Cost is cheap. It gets about 16mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. Maintenance is cheap as well, just basic up keep. The Fun Factor for the car is decent. It's fun, quick, and a sporty car for the value

Performance: Lackluster when stock, but with a few
modifications, it is now a blast to drive
Build Quality: Typical Ford craftsmanship, so it has
its rattles and shakes, but so far nothing serious
has broken. It is cheap to keep up with
maintenance.
Appearance: Black is best and when its clean this
car outshines vehicles of much higher price. Love it.
I get lots of looks and comments.
Cost: Very cheap to maintain. Insurance is a bit
over the top, but I am under 25 years old. Gas
mileage averages around 28-29 on highway, 20-22
in town. I do all maintenance myself, so its been
cheap for me not having to pay a mechanic, but all
parts for maintenance have been inexpensive and
easy to work on.
Fun Factor: Definitely fun. Wish it had removable
top or sunroof, but I'm just as happy cruising with
the windows down.Sep 01, 2008

Performance is awesome! American Muscle V8! Braking is good in stock form but upgrading the brakes only makes it better. Handling stock is so-so but when you add full suspension, it handles very well. Appearance is great/mean stock, you can do a plethora of things to spruce up the looks and make it look even meaner! Interior will do, nothing special to talk about. Gas mileage is good for a V8, I get about 18mpg in the city (but it goes down depending on how much you like to use your right foot =)). Maintenance isn't bad at all, it's very well built and nothing major has gone bad on me. This car is a blast to drive, especially because it's stick!Aug 28, 2008

Great car fun to drive for any person. Would be a lot more fun if it was a manual. Doesn't need a lot of repairs even for an american sports car. If anything I wish the interior was better looking. Nothing to really complain about 190,000+ miles and stilling running strong. While the V8 GT is the real mustang, the V6 has its pluses. Uses a lot less gas and insurance cost is GREAT. The manual would be more fun but harder to find at low price.Aug 19, 2008

I dont dislike anything about this car. I love it and will never sale it!! it is a 2003 GT with a 4.6L V8 of course, full out custom exhast with a 3" BBK X-pipe into straight through dyno-max flow mufflers. K&N cold air intake, ported intake manifold, SCT computer chip programmer little odds and ends so far under the hood! inside cab. black leather seats, alpine speakers all around with a pioneer 10" sub with a custom box flush in the trunk with a memphis 300 watt amp! all controlled by a pioneer CD/DVD head fold out screen! outer features.., tinted windows, converted front and rear bumper into 03-04 svt cobra bumpers with black cobra insert and black rear spoiler! front and side snake emblems, back SVT emblem, 2 inch drop iboch lowering springs, all sitting on 18" Y2K cobra wheels!! Overall all its an amazing car. Handles good, brakes also good ,the car stops great. Only a V6 but still packs a big punch. About 160 HP and 200 lbs of torque. Accelerates like a beast with a nice sounding exhaust. Only mods to the car are a cowl induction hood and a cold air intake.Jul 26, 2008

I absolutely love this car. It keeps me in the comfort of an American style sports car: roomy, with space to expand (both passenger count and engine size), while also providing a low center of gravity and light body, combined with smaller wheels to give me that rice-burner-esque handling.
However, with this car being an all-rounder, it doesn't exceed at any one task, other than looking sexy. After a good bath and wax, it seems to be smiling at the camera with every little sparkle in its metallic finish paint. Other than that though, in sports car terms, it is mediocre in all departments.
It can accelerate to 60MPH quickly, but easily beaten out by smaller cars with less weight, or bigger cars with more power. It also has good handling, but will be far outshined by other models such as the Nissan 350Z or even something as simple as a Honda Civic or other import. And it's not just in the import market either. If put up to the test, it would almost certainly be beaten out by new models of the Cobalt from Chevrolet, or the Pontiac G6.
To round it out, it is a joy to drive. My previous car was a good condition Chevy Camaro, late 80's model. Being only a small 3.1L V6 I didn't get much of that American Muscle action you'd expect, and the heavy frame made my handling suffer, so switching from that to the 2000 Ford Mustang is an upgrade in every department, with a lighter body weight, a larger engine (3.8L V6), and a shorter body combined with lower center of gravity, it makes every drive that much more enjoyable.Jun 09, 2008

I purchased this Dark Shadow Gray Mach 1, based on the limited availability of the model, coupled with the fact that it had the same DOHC 4.6 litre engine as the Cobra, without the supercharger, but had ram air with the functional shaker hood scoop. Of course, the ram air is only partly true, as most of the intake still comes from the fender well as in all other Mustangs, and the shaker hood scoop, while functional, just brings in part of the air.
In any case, the engine is a high winder, as found in overhead cam, versus overhead valve engines. It winds freely but the torque doesn't seem to kick in until you hit about 5,000 rpm, which left me feeling rather cold about the power. I was used to the pushrod Mustangs and the low RPM power curves, so maybe I was just disappointed in the lack of low end power, that would have been better satisfied by the Cobra with the supercharger, since that does produce gobs more low end power. I also noted many of the Mach 1 enthusiasts were retrofitting superchargers to their cars and thus were ending up with the proverbial "poor man's Cobra".
Fit and finish were good, the paint job was about as fine as I have ever seen on a Ford product. Glass like and flawless. The black leather interior was nicely done and the bucket seats were comfortable. As always, the back seats are fine for a short trip for kids and small adults but not for any long hauls for anyone else. The five speed manual gearbox was relatively smooth, although a six speed would have been a lot better.
All in all, a nice vehicle, but it should have had more power, more low end torque and maybe a longer production run. The two year run of the car proved it perhaps wasn't as popular as it should be, as many sat on dealer lots, and sold for many thousands off the MSRP as dealers deep discounted them to move them out.
