Definitely a drivers car, one of the best at that, if you want something that will do the “driving for you” this is not it! Raw power and amazing handling, that’s what the viper is about, super fun without the help of today’s cars, not for the faint of heart. They are only gaining value now, I do not think there are many options in the market like it, not with the same numbers, the only other car I can think of it is an S2000 but with less than half the power. If you want attention, you’ll get it… not my favorite part, but it’s because how unique it is… you won’t see one in every corner like you see a corvette or a Porsche…. Jul 22, 2021

I purchased the vehicle by accident with the thought of selling it. Well a full summer later I can't fine a reason to get rid of it. It may be my only chance to own a drive a real sports car. It's the Cobra that I couldn't afford in my youth or now. It's a real car of the past very few options; air, power steering, disc brakes, power windows and a CD player nothing else is needed. It makes me smile!!! There is nothing other than maybe a Turbo Porsche to compare the power too, the acceleration is frighting and it stops quicker than anything I've ever driven. I get as much enjoyment of driving and riding in it as I once did riding my motorcycles. Plus if I'm caught in the rain I don't have to pull under a overpass and wait for the rain to stop. Another great aspect of the vehicle is you can have a conversation with your passenger with the top down at 80 mph. Great engineering.Oct 09, 2014

I just bought this car used last week with only 16,000 miles and have to say it's more than I ever hoped for. Everyone knows about the horsepower and torque, but the car is unbelievably comfortable to drive! I've driven it here in Dallas during 100+ days and have no issues with heat in the cabin. While the ride is stiff, it won't rattle your teeth loose and the looks are to die for. Men, women, kids... all love the car, give me thumbs up and want to ride in it. The only downside is every kid in a mustang or camaro wants to race. All I need to do is step on the gas and watch them disappear. **** 1 YEAR UPDATE **** I've now owned this car for one year. I still have no regrets. The Viper is reliable, comfortable, and still an awesome car to drive. I've driven it from DFW to Little Rock, AR and was comfortable the whole way. I've tracked it and can say it has greater capabilities than I do. I'm actually looking to buy another one shortly.Aug 10, 2011

This is a quintessential supercar. I have always wanted one since I saw the first prototype at the Auto show in 1992. These cars are highly underated as most people think Ferrari or some other exotic is superior. This is a myth. This cars acceleration and handling is unbelievable. Its looks are second to none and I just get this awesome feeling whenever I see it or drive it. It gets lots of attn. and some people just cant believe it when they see it. They only make a limited production per year and the Viper name is well revered. I just love this car. This has been my dream come true.Oct 17, 2008

Ahh, the Dodge Viper. Not a very common racing car, but one heck of an awesome car! This car had a lot of speed in just one gear. You would basically go from 0 to 70 only in 2nd gear. It also was a great car to maneuver, hence the wide racing tires. The paint job was great - the metallic silver-blue paint was shiny and glossy. Not only is the beauty and wonder on the outside, but just flip the hood and start the engine!Jan 26, 2008

Drove a Viper around Road America - wasn't impressed. Oversteered and was very unstable. Gearbox was similar to my circa 90s John Deere, A/C Controls and many other parts were borrowed from the Neon. Exhaust design/layout was an afterthought - scorched your legs getting in or out after high speed runs. Fun in 2nd gear in straight line, but first corner was not fun at all.Jan 01, 2008
