For a v6 110 HP I was shocked at her pick up. I love the front bucket seats and truck space.
Most of all I love that every bit of her is metal!..Gas mileage is ok. I think that fixing her up to her original condition will be a good project.Dec 28, 2014

It was a Chevy, it's a 76' - there aren't many of them out there, most got used for demolition derbys because they have a solid frame. It was worth restoring - now that I own one I am finding that others are restoring them as well.Feb 16, 2012

This car is awesome. It's 33 years old and rust is not an issue. It drives without any problems and it definitely turns people's eyes. Comfort is everything to me and boy is this ride comfortable. The trunk is spacious while it still holds the spare. Apr 04, 2011

The car is 35 years old, but still runs fine. After I fixed the brakes(master cylinder/bled) they are fine. Handling is good for the giant boat. Acceleration is not extreamly good(305), but would be better with the 350/400. As you would expect it has needed repairs, just for being old. It only has squeaked once, after it sat for a couple months and tried to get it to up a hill. I love the exterior, and the tan (leather?) interior is kind of bland.. It does not have good gas mileage, but at this point who cares? Jan 30, 2011

Build Quality: pretty good foir a 33 year old steel car. a good bit of rust and salt and sand damage from winters but that isnt too terrible
Car Comparisons: none, i wanted this car as soon as i saw it
Performance: it can haul when it needs to
More About My Car: not for sale gdi! if someday i wanna make a racecar out of it, I'M the one Apr 14, 2010

To be honest, probably is the best car ever made. Just shy of 100k and haven't had a single engine problem yet. The bench seat is like sitting on a couch. Rides VERY smooth, and the caddy steering lets you make a u-turn in a 2 lane without having to reverse. It gets ~24 MPG. Best bonus: Hardly anyone owns one.Jun 28, 2009

I love my car because of the new paint job im giving it, and the new rims i ordered for it. there roush rims and a midnight black for the paint job. though it has a 6 strait it still has that kick i like. The '75 look is still a well known look and the prime of the malibu's body style.Nov 30, 2008

This car has fans with a love/hate relationship. The Chevelle model changed in 1973 when the gas crunch started and the muscle car era died. Chevy stretched the body and made the Chevelle Malibu into a land yacht. This style has grown on me and a guy can't help not falling in love with his first car. Interesting enough NASCAR raced the Laguna version of this car in 77.Sep 01, 2008

Have only had the car one week. So far, with the 350, it likes gas stations (alot). Drives and rides so smoothly it's a dream.Oct 25, 2007
