The CTS is a really solid choice in a used mid size car. The car is widely considered to be very well made, and from quality materials. These generation 2 models (thru 2013) have proven to be extremely reliable also. The Premium model I purchased has the additional bells and whistles that I was looking for, including the nav, backup camera, heated and cooled seats, etc. With the 3.6 engine the car is very responsive. I live in snow country so the AWD is a big plus. The biggest thing is the car is actually fun to drive. It has an extremely well sorted chassis and handles well while providing a comfortable ride. Great choice!Jan 15, 2023

I have 3 GM vehicles , this being the latest addition to our family. Extremely satisfied with the Cadillac. The air conditioner is fantastic as our Vegas heat increases, this car cools down the cabin in minutes.Jun 06, 2021

Great Car overall, I would not have any complaints or downsides to this vehicle. It has great power and is great on gas. I love the Red color with the Tan interior. The chrome accent package adds more luxury and beauty. Cadillac is Truly a top of the line car!May 06, 2015

My wife and I took GM family discounts on 2 2010 CTS's, hers gray and mine very flashy red. We had previously owned a 2007 CTS, which we liked a lot. We love these 2010's. These are sports cars, not land yachts. They must be driven. My doc commands me to get something where my butt does not sit below my knees as I exit, so one of the Caddys had to go. Mine is in the 80,000s and hers is half that. Mine has been the road car. We have had no mechanical trouble with either. The only car I've enjoyed driving more was my 1986 Chrysler GTS but in that case I always have to add "when it was running." The Caddys are always running. Oh, and the Chrysler required premium gas, while the Caddys get along just fine with regular. On cruise control, it gets just under 30 mpg. Off cruise control, it wants to go 80 mph. This is the car, not me. It homes in on 80. Only cruise control has saved my driving record.Nov 24, 2014

I've had my fun with the sports cars, now it's time for a little class and practicality. Cadillac is the way to go. When taking people places, I've received numerous compliments on how spacious and comfortable the backseat is. Also, the trunk is big enough to fit everyone's luggage so you never have to worry about cumbersome luggage on your lap. The panoramic sunroof is a beautiful addition, especially during night time.Sep 05, 2013

Performance - I was surprised that a little 3.0 liter V-6 direct injection had this much power but, that said I'm not looking for a Hot Rod Caddy. Handles well for luxury car and the braking is very good.
Quality - Cadillac being GM's luxury brand they put a little more attention to the details of fit, finish and the materials used. No repairs or problems since it's purchase.
Appearance - The wife has loved the looks of the CTS since it's inception but, every one has difference of opinion of what they like.
Cost of ownership - Cadillac takes care of all the maintenance for the first four years. The fuel mileage is about 28 mpg on the road at 1k I expect it to improve some as it rolls up a few more miles.
Fun Factor - I like driving it because of the smooth and quite ride making a road trip less tiring and with the gadgets on it you stay entertained.Dec 14, 2012

Its an awesome car overall Power is suprising when it shifts at 7k rpm... sport mode is great as well.... handling is impressive for a family sedan... fuel mileage is ab 26mpg... room in the front is great... as long as the car isnt loaded with people over 6 foot... or it becomes crowded... I do not like to sit in the back of these cars... doesnt feel right and room is minimalDec 14, 2011

Handling and braking are superb. Always feel sure-footed in the corners, wet or dry. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires are amazing.
Gas, maintenance and other operating costs are fairly low. Top marks for Cadillac service.
Build quality is top notch. Almost no issues with mechanical or electrical systems, or interior trim pieces.
The car is an absolute stunner to see on the street. After 3 years with the car, I still get compliments on it regularly.Dec 12, 2010

I love my new CTS...they've changed it quite a bit since my 2003 model I had. I used to have the 2006 STS, and glad to get back to something smaller and easier to drive.
I love the double sunroof...and rope lighting interior. I could never get tired of the Diamond White exterior with the tan interior with the wood package. Perfect for me!Feb 19, 2010

The best car I have ever owned....and will probably be the first car to get me a ticket! Seriously, the performance is bar none...and it takes regular gas! It was worth the 8 months I waited to get it.
Road trip anyone? :) Jan 29, 2009

Fast and Furious, Luxurious, Gorgeous inside and out, fun to drive, great sound system, many cool features, and just an amazing vehicle all around. The pearl white with camel interior and brown leather is just beautiful, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury vehicle. Really cool car!!! Nov 03, 2008

This car is the best Cadillac ever. It looks sleek and
modern, yet definitely still feels like a Caddy. The
interior is top notch and the one I drove didn't even
have the top-of-the-line interior. The one I drove had
the smaller sub300hp V6 but I could imagine the
300hp V6. This car rocks! Definitely a winner for
Cadillac!Jul 26, 2008

Dollar for dollar pound for pound and mile for mile-by far- the best vehicle in its class. I shopped a LOT for a luxery sports sedan and this is NOT your grandpa's Cadillac. It has a strong horsepower and torque and the sport transmition allows you to play even with the automatic. Very fun car. Jul 18, 2008

It's definately fast, but not made for the drag strip. The 6 speed is best for winding roads and high speed performance. The styling both inside and out leaves little to be desired. I especially like the accent lighting around the doors and dash. The all-wheel drive works exceptionally well in conjunction with the traction and electronic stability control systems. The only thing I wold change about this car would be to replace the faux metal trim inside with all wood. The faux metal looks cheap.Apr 04, 2008
