The bmw 550i is just plain excellent. I purchased mine about 5 hours away from home so I had a pretty proper test immediately. It’s very powerful and extremely comfortable which is exactly what I want from a luxury vehicle. Feb 23, 2024

This car was listed as a good value. So there were some minor dings, scratches and interior wear for a ten year old vehicle. However, it was one owner, low miles and everything I was looking for in this particular vehicle. This was a rare find and worked out in my favor.May 27, 2022

New car value for ~$15k for a good example. Feels just as modern inside as any new BMW, looks better on the outside too. Standard seats are more comfortable if youre tall, winter package for anywhere cold. Standard suspension performs just as well as sport suspension, cheaper to repair when shocks break around ~100k. Twin-scroll turbo makes plenty of power, 5 seconds to 60 mph is fast enough for anyone, and the ZF 8-speed is responsive, fast, and incredibly smooth. Sounds great to boot.Dec 20, 2021

This is my third BMW and second 5 series and they just never seem to disappoint. You have to keep in mind that BMWs are not to be strictly a luxury car, their focus is on performance/luxury. The ride is responsive and sure footed but the cup holders leave a little to be desired so just know what you are looking for and you will not be disappointed.Dec 15, 2021

The 5 Series BMW is by far the best all around value in this segment. I especially liked the 2011 528i since it is the only year for the 5 series to have the inline 6 (N52N) and an 8 speed ZF transmission. The N52 is considered the BEST and most reliable normally aspirated I-6 that BMW produced. This combination is awesome highway gas mileage driving at speed or above was 30mpg.

The larger size of this model 5 series (known as F10 body style) makes it a better choice for families than previous generations. The 3.0 liter turbo engine has enough power to make this a real performance sedan with plenty of power for performance day to day driving.
The interior is roomy, made to comfortably accommodate 4 adults. The trunk is spacious and I have been able to fit two children's bikes (small ones) in there.May 05, 2015

I have no complaints with it. I am sold on a BMW and would never get anything else. Its just amazing. Its drives, handles and runs perfect. Its also great on gas mileage and its roomy. Enough space for my family.

Love this car. Very fast and sporty looking but also very safe. Sound system is great too, and the navigation works well. Haven't had any major problems with the car and the BMW warranty that comes with it is awesome.Jan 20, 2015

I knew that I would enjoy the car, but I keep being surprised by how much I really love to drive it. It is sporty without drawing attention to itself. It gets pleasingly aggressive in sport mode. It gets teriffic gas mileage for a car of its size. The AWD system is better than my SUV. And it looks amazing - the black paint is so very black.Dec 04, 2013

I love the way this car drives and handles overall. The gas mileage is great. It has such a roomy interior and fits three full size carseats in the rear. The rear heated seats are a plus. This car is great for trips or just back and forth to work. The maintenace is free for five years so virtually nothing to do but gas up and drive.

Since the F10 concept platform has been conceived by BMW, it has gone a long way until production. This is undoubtedly one of the greatest 5 series every built by BMW, albeit the spirited fun driving experience is mildly diminished from the previous generation E60. The all new 5 series looks and feels like a smaller version of the F01 7-series. With all the electronic gadgets added to the 5, the car-to-driver connection has been compromised. Don't get me wrong, it's still a fast car, thanks to its all-new 4.4L TwinTurbo V8 that pumps out 400 horses and 450 lb-ft of torque, propelling you from 0-60 in less than 5.1 seconds; however, the "extension of your arms and legs" feeling is no longer there. However, this is compensated by comfort, technology, and everyday usability. Overall this is a great family sports sedan to have in your garage.Dec 12, 2011

This is a very Comfortable car, sporty and luxurious. It is well
appointed with lots of gadgets and features, Navigation system has
very nice 3D maps on a large wide format 10in screen. Supportive
seats, rear entertainment, and to top it all, the best handling 4 door

The 2011 Bmw 535i is the best BMW I have Deiven. It has Great Acceleration, it's a solidly Built Car with Great Handling. The Navigation is very user friendly with a built in Hard Drive allowing you to store all your music on it.Apr 12, 2011
