Beautiful car. Good economy from 1.9 litre turbo diesel engine, very refined cruiser
also thanks to 6 speed box. The interior is more roomy than it first appears
however the rear seats are a bit short on space for adults.Jan 29, 2012

looks great, drives ok, reliability is rubbish. Like - the appearence, fuel ecconomy.
Hate - reliability, build quality, lack of steering feel, poor grip
Generally a fun car but after paying £2,000 for an engine rebuild last week due to snaped cambelt I have to say reliability is poor. Faults in the last year:
Blocked EGR valve
snapped handbreak cable
reversing light sensor failed
headlamp bulb failed
window control on drivers door broken
Handbreak cover won't seat properly
3 wheels bent due to holes in the road
Intercooler feed pipe blown
ongoing fault with connection to fuel injector on cylinder 3
ongoing fault with driver side window failing to drop when the door is opened
front wishbones need replacing
exhaust mounts need replacing Mar 26, 2010

Quite simply the best looking car in its class/pricerange. The diesel purrs like a little kitten and accelerations are pretty acceptable (albeit not that spectacular, it still IS a 1.9 diesel). Ofcourse it's still "made in Italy", which means squaks, wind noises and lots of minor defects. But then again, have I told you how gorgeous this car is?Dec 03, 2008

Driving an Alfa GT at mo' absolutley LOVE it, sexy looking, sleek in silver, great handling, more torke than an M3 !!. The interior is beautiful on the eye and comfortable on the body, easy access to all you may want to access !.
I've owned GT's and a 147, each have been a pleasure to own, no probs with alfa maintenance, no real / major probs with any of them, probably why I'm on my 3rd Alfa!!
It looks good, I feel good, what more can I say? try one.......

This car is just so cool. The seats are great, and it really have that Alfa-feel to it that the new ones haven't.Mar 05, 2008
