Built for smooth and supple, not fast and angry. A gentlemen's bolide...don't know what I'm doing with it. Appearance in and out superb. An anti-BMW. 2.5 V6 not gutsy, but v. quiet and silken, tho a bit thirsty. I love it, and did from first view of a 166 10 years ago. Nearly a year into ownership, and I'm still in love. Constantly amazed by the little nuances. When any door is opened, a courtesy light shines on the ground beneath, making sure you don't muddy your Guccis. And it doesn't just suddenly come on; it gently glows until full brightness is achieved. The video display is perfect, and very sophisticated with what it can do. only wish I'd had the fortune to have the built-in sat-nav and multi-load cd player. As it is, the cassettes, of which I have tons, sound terrific in the system. Few cars make you look forward to a drive...this one does. And I'm not prone to gushing about cars...I was in the business for 40 years, and have driven everything with wheels, and some things without! Oh, yes...not a squeak or rattle to be heard, and the 'sport' setting on the AT gets verything moving rather well, with v.good throttle response. If you can find a good one, grab it while they are cheap to purchase, as soon the world will discover them, and they'll dry up.May 01, 2010
