it is a great family car, with a strong engine and great comfort, it is a very fun car to drive, the Opel Vectra is the best car I have had because the handling feels luxuryus and it is easy to styleMar 23, 2011

my 1996 Vectra was the powerful engine sold in the Vectra range, a 2.5i V6 liter
engine developing 170horsepower united to 4 speed automatic transmission with
"sport" mode. so, the car was well built, the exterior design was so pretty and the
interior was quite good. never went broken, after a long time using (14 years) the
transmission died, it wasn't serious but we sold it 'cause in my country to fix a
German car cost a huge amount of money.
The engine was very powerful, even the car was quite heavy, and very low
gasoline consumption, in the ECO mode the car shifts up at 2200rpm, if you select
the Sport mode the car shifts up at 5500rpm making it fly, specially for long trips, as
the engine is big, at 120kmh (the legal limit here) the car was at 2000rpm making a
stupidly low consumption. the transmission was very soft, a little bit slow shifting,
but you can not notice when the car shift the speeds
The interior was really well done, premium materials, a cool CD radio and seat with
heater, also it has control cruise and board computer with a big LED display, the
sunroof let the sun come into the car constructing a nice area, if is it to shiny, just
was necessary to close the cover.
the seats were very comfortable with a lot adjustments, some people may find
them a little bit small, not for me. and something very important, everything that
you touch is soft, giving you this "premium" feeling.
the cost of maintenance was AWFUL haha, yes that was bad, 'cause (at least in my
country) to maintain a German car is very expensive, also some parts they had to
bring them directly form Germany, and that increase the total cost of any
reparation or maintenance
is it Fun??? yes, but not a super sports car, just a nice family car with a great V6

A really nice car. Although it's one of the heaviest in it's category, it has a great acceleration among with high speed. Excellent stability in the road, and lots of spaces inside. Heavy weight can also be consedered as a disadvtge since the car could have greater acceleration with less weight.Dec 01, 2009

LOVE IT!Jul 19, 2009

This was the best car that I have owned. its performance is very good. can take your breath away, by the way it was Vectra GT 150 horse power. the build qualityis very good, you can also drive it off-road even :) it is also fun to drive it. the apperiance is not so good but it is a nice car.Nov 01, 2008

old as hell and not a VAG. Well in denmark with our insane taxes on everything you actually get quit alot of car for the money but nevertheless, its still and old car. Its quite a smoothe ride when you pendle. The interior is nothing to brag about, and neither is the performance. The paint is starting to show that its a 12 year old car but of course i try to keep it decent at least.Aug 27, 2008
