In standard form not very quick. My example had a direct air intake system and a free flowing exhaust. All non essestial parts were stripped from the car, to lighten it. The very reliable engine is powerful as 1.6s go, with this Mitsubishi SOHC 16v version producing a factory quoted power output of 113bhp. The engine has to be worked hard though to maintain maximum power, but produced a sporty noise reminiscant of a bigger more powerful engine. Excellent driving position, easy to drive both quickly and slowly, Returns good economy even when thrashed, Good for 130mph and 0-60 in under 9 seconds as the kerb weight is quite low. Build on the same platform as Mitsubishi Evo's 1-3, many parts are the same or interchangable. The roomy interior is very dull, grey and plasticy. The seats look vile, but are actaully very comfy! The boot is enormous. Comes with lots of electrics (although most didn't work ion my example), easy to fix with many household DIY products, Due to poor build quality in some places the interior was always damp, Has disc brakes all round, but no ABS, the handling is of a neutral balance whilst being slightly sporty due to the car's low stance. One of the cheapest most enjoyable cars I've owned, definately reccomended.Dec 24, 2008
