I have a well maintained example, 1984 Chrysler Laser Turbo which is identical in EVERY way (except badges) to the Dodge Daytona. The 2.2 liter engine (mine is turbo charged) has proven to be a very reliable in cars so equipped and gets excellent fuel economy. Mine get's mid 20's which is impressive for a 25 year old car that does 0-60 in under 8 seconds. The cars handling is exceptional and rivals modern cars. All my car's electronics work well, nothing is broken or has broken. My car is an automatic and it has not been rebuilt or needed a rebuild. Fluids and maintenance have been well maintained. The car looks dated by today's standards but I believe in time it will be revered for the looks as well as the drivetrain!Jun 19, 2011
