The Blazer/Jimmy & Suburban's were horrible at rusting out. This beast is no exception. But for the snow plow application the short wheel base of the Jimmy/Blazer cannot be beat in a full size rig. Also this is one of the rare 3/4 ton units so it will take a beating. I've increased to 35" tires for clearance. I will most likely run weight in the back with tire chains (the 3/4 ton driveline should have no problem). The 350 has a propane conversion. I was a little concerned when I bought it becasue refueling and re-certing the tanks is a pain. Since this thing is only used on private land, I have removed the origianl rusty tanks and installed new certified portable ones (just remove, fill and re-install). Most of the other converted vehicles that I have driven were alot less powerful than their gasoline counterpart. Not this one. Even though the last owner broke the VPV off it still has tons of power (I'm thinking the motor is not stock!!). I'm still working on the unit, once it is complete it will be quite the unit.Jan 26, 2014
