Fun to drive . Reliable +++ . Low cost to run and to maintain . The one I owned (for 7 years) was standard mechanically with improved rear shocks . It was fast ( up to 160 Km /h in high way ) , quick (3rd gear plenty of punch) , the gear shifting deliciously smooth , direction sharp and precise, but sleepery on the rear axle even wirth somewhat larger tyres . Brakes where from the 70s .... I loved it : a delightfull 2 door midnight blue sedan that I unfortunatelly sold to buy a Triumph... It was my first car and as the song says it will be always in my mind Nov 23, 2022

fun to drive, but acceleration on a cold engine was downright dangerous. Sometimes the car would sputter and die when accelerating into traffic. Excellent handling on dry roads, but in snow this car was pathetic. Good reliable transportation for around town, but I never really trusted it much on long high speed drives.Oct 31, 2009

* Performance - ok acceleration, good braking, great handling
* Build Quality - lasted 37 years so yeah pretty good
* Appearance - interior classic look and exterior not as airodynamic as the new cars today but still looks great
* Cost of Ownership - good for short trips around town
* Fun Factor - awesome

Jan 19, 2009
