The 1971 DBS was a straight six ,tripple carburettor engine churning out 280 - 300bhp and with an approx. top speed of 265km/hr... slighty less underpowered compared to the V8 fuel injected engine in the DBS from 1973 onwards... but no less fun for that matter.. a pure sports coupe with the comfort of a good touring chassis and suspension... good braking thanks to twin brake booster pads in addition to disc brakes on front wheels..Jul 01, 2009

These cars are designed as trophies for rich car nuts. They are very special, especially if you are not looking at the repair bills. It's a hammered aluminum car with a leather covered interior and wool carpet. there's a knob on the dash to turn up the shock stiffness, a switch to change horns, and to change to reserve fuel tank and other crazy stuff. Separate heater cores and blowers left and right. It feels a little unruly until going about ninety + and then it's magic.Jun 13, 2009
