My car is a 1970 Buick Riviera. It has a 455 cubic inch big block with headers, high rise manifold, racing camshaft, and performance distributor. The motor was rebuilt less that 20,000 miles ago. I perchased this car off of ebay. I bid 3,500 and another guy bid 3,600 and won it but was un able to perchase it so I was called by the owner and bought it. The car is very fast for a big car and can light up the rear tires. Due to the fact the car is so big I assume it does the quarter mile in about 16.7 seconds. The car is big so handling isnt one of its high points. I plan on geting the turbo 400 transmission rebuilt with a shift kit and get a 411 or 373 posi in the rearend. The car only has a little surface rust on the top of the right front fender and has a rip in the sadly bench front seat. The car is fun to drive for me but I bet if you threw a camaro guy behind the wheel he would say its big and slugish. This car shares its frame with the Cadillac Eldorado and Oldsmobile Toronado but my car is rear wheel drive unlike its cousins. The car needs to be sanded and painted ( and it could loose that vinal top) and It should look pretty cool. So thats my RivieraAug 23, 2010
