My first car. I really enjoyed it at the age of 18. Fun to drive and fairly good economy. Good interior with front bucket seats with rolled and pleated vinyl seat covers. Fairly roomy interior, good trunck room. That's it.Dec 22, 2011

This is really a 1965 Simca 1000 with US Specs, but that model/year choice was not available. The Simca 1000 was launched on an unsuspecting French press in the fall of 1961 and was launched shortly thereafter. For several years, the 1000 was France's bestselling model, until the Front-wheel-drive 1100 was introduced in 1967 and set the motoring world on it's ear again!Sep 29, 2008
