Squidgy family car of the mid fifties which was the last Austin built with a separate chassis. Same underpinnings as the A40 Devon but with slightly improved cylinder head. Still underpowered for size/weight if car with only 1200cc engine. The column gear change is fine so long as its not rushed. The car draws lots of attention and has proved very reliableJan 13, 2012
