Responded with minimal details via email, and no Carfax was supplied upon request. When I called the number used on the email, the person only responded with a 'Hello' and I had to ask if it was the car dealership. When he said it was, he answered my questions, but it felt like I was wasting his time. Said I could take the car to BMW for an inspection upon signing a conditional deal. That sounds like the proper procedure, but I personally ran a Carfax on the VIN and the car had been considered a "Total Loss" a year prior, with $14,000 in other repairs done to the vehicle on two prior registered accidents. Be wary if you are looking to deal with this seller.
