A really fun car that was kart-like in handling.

This was my first car. It was grossly underpowered yet fun to drive. It handled really well and was lots of fun to drive. It was inexpensive since I bought it used and these cars dropped value like a rock on the used car market mostly because they rusted out. I sold mine before it started to show signs of rust.

The fiat has been nicknamed "fix it again tony", well the fuel pump needed replacing right off the bat. Ran pretty good, except the brake calipers were sticking such that when I pulled up they were glowing red hot and I lit a cigarette on one of the rotors. Welding a new floor in seemed like a good idea at the time, but the spacing on the seat rails were critical, and adjusting the seats afterwards took a hammer. All the underneath extra steel made it HEAVY then. We have winters in Wisconsin and really could not use it much of the year. Fun project car for a teenager,

Fun to rebuild and rebuild. Like a street legal model car. 903cc engine Motorcycle engines are larger. Love my little Italian car. Performance – acceleration, braking, handling like a 1970 Build Quality – has needed repairs Appearance – both interior and exterior styling is awsome Cost of Ownership – gas mileage is ~28mpg Fun Factor – is this car fun to drive? Hell yes!!!!

Min første bil som kostede 7500kr i 1981. Blev købt privat hos en mand i Dybvad. Det var ikke jordens hurtigste 0-100 pÃ¥ 7½ minut cirka. Men startede som den skulle hver morgen. Den havde motoren bagi så den var rimeligt ustabil i glat føre. Men super sjovt køretøj.
