Used Acura CSX for Sale near Minett, ON

This is my 2006 Acura CSX, in Touring trim and Haberno Red. If you are looking for a well-built, fun-to-drive, gorgeous, sub-$30K new car, look no further. This is basically an Acura RSX drivetrain (same 2.0 litre engine and 5-speed transmission) put into a Japanese market Civic chassis and body. So instead of the Honda Civic's 1.8 litre 4-cylinder engine with 140 hp, this 2.0 litre engine produces 155 hp and 139 lb-ft of torque. I bought the base Touring model, which is well-equipped - power locks with remote keyless entry, power windows with driver's auto up/down, power and heated side mirrors, tilt/telescoping steering wheel wrapped in leather, electric power steering (rather than hydraulic), drive-by-wire throttle, auto climate control, CD/MP3 compatible player with 6 speakers, side mirror-mounted turn signal lights, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, 6 airbags... all riding on 16-inch alloys. The Premium model adds leather seats (heated up front), 6-disc CD changer, power sunroof and HID headlights. A voice-activated navigation system can be added to the Premium model. The biggest difference between the CSX and Acura EL it replaced (and most other cars) is the two-tiered instrument panel with the digital speedometer mounted on the dash above the steering wheel level. I've heard mixed comments about this. Personally, I love the idea and design - the digital speedo is large, bright, and acts much like a head-up display. The tachometer below the speedometer is analog, but is still very clear and bright. I would certainly prefer this design much more than the centre-mounted speedometer in the Toyota Yaris or Saturn ION. Beware if you take this car to a driver's exam, though - if you speed, it will be displayed largely and brightly for the examiner to see. The real appeal of this car for me was the transmission. I went for the optional automatic transmission, which shifts extremely smoothly. This may seem to take the fun factor out of the car, until... you put it into manual shift mode and use the steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The shifts are very quick with each flick of the paddle, and combined with the high-revving i-VTEC engine and drive-by-wire throttle, every downshift and full throttle acceleration down the on-ramp is thrilling. I have a Formula 1-like moment every morning on my way to work :) For true enthusiasts who want a traditional manual transmission with the most performance, try the Acura CSX Type-S (released a few months after I bought my CSX). It has the same drivetrain as the Honda Civic Type-S - 2.0 litre i-VTEC with 197 hp, mated to a six-speed manual. It also sits on 17-inch alloys and has a sporty rear spoiler. Everything else is similar to the CSX Premium.

It's deffinately not a Honda Civic. I love this car. 44mpg, and rides very smooth, powerfull through all ranges. Very fun car to drive. The only thing that I would change about this car would be the fact that it is black, and my street has not been paved yet.....
