I love everything about these cars, except for the inability to get power train warranty coverage. This engine could ruin anyone on a budget if it goes wrong, making it a deal breaker for many. Its like a better in every way golf R.

I love this car! To be honest I ended up buying a 2020 but only because I got a screaming deal on a demo. The 2020 is more or less identical to the 2019. The GLA ticks all my boxes - hatchback, 4WD, blind spot monitoring, and not too boxy. I don’t need a huge vehicle and the GLA handles more like a car than an suv. The only luxury suv that came close was the BMW X2, but it lacked the blind spot monitoring, and its handling was not as car-like. In my search for the right vehicle for me I also test drove the BMW X1 and X2, Lexus NX, Acura RDX, and the GLA was by far my favourite.
