Used 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack for Sale near Nova Scotia
4.7 Overall rating
(12 reviews)Amazing traction, beautiful interior, good German engineering. Great value. Doesnt have sensors for cars getting too close or blind spot detection
For my purposes, the Golf Alltrack is a near perfect vehicle. It is not gross and large, yet its interior room is greater than many SUVs. The handling is responsive and sure. While there was no means of testing the Alltrack capabilities, I would assume that it would meet situations of snow with great aplomb. The acceleration and driving characteristics were excellent. Fit and finish both inside and out were equally superb. Unless you absolutely NEED an offroad vehicle (and exactly how often are you really going to use that offroad potential that you were seduced into buying?) I cannot imagine a better or more practical vehicle. The car is a good value. For those who want an automatic transmission, it is available. I would place the Volkswagen Golf Alltrack far ahead of the Subaru offerings in both handling, acceleration and fit and finish.
Hard to find an all wheel drive wagon with a manual transmission. A blast to drive.
Actually fun to drive. Steering firms up nicely in custom setting. Though it leans in the twisties it doesnt feel tippy, tracks through with virtually no understeer. Avoid ludicrous speed setting in custom. No mechanical issues. With the DSG transmission(SE & SEL), beats the snot out of the Outback. Avoid oem tires, probs with SE delaminating Continentals, Falkens are just terrible in all respects. once switched to Michelin Pilot A/S performance is way enhanced. VW killed the GOLF at least for US. Im certain the make more $ on the Tiguan, which is the entry soccer mom model. May buy another to keep in CO. For us (both the SE & SEL-yup two) we have keepers ie 125-50k.
I love this car. It has many features, is comfortable to drive, very versatile, and still priced right. I would buy another one to save for later if I could!
