Used Ford Taurus for Sale near Elmira, ON

I have a 2011 Ford Taurus base SE model with the 3.5L V6. I put 354,762 miles on it when the timing chain had stretched to the point where it jumped a tooth on the sprocket. I put another motor with 129K miles and a tranny with 72K miles back in it and replaced all the cloth seats and armrest with all leather and put it right back on the road. If you follow the owners manual repair/replacement and oil change schedules to the letter, and you dont beat on them, these engines are bulletproof. I never even replaced the original water pump on that original motor. If you change the coolant every 100K miles, you want have too, either.

Very easy driver, fun to drive, love the styling of the vehicle, I would highly recommend purchasing one of these! The engine has plenty of power and the Taurus offers a great range of options making it very luxurious as well.

The car itself is great. All Wheel Drive helps in the Northern Ohio winters. Acceleration is very nice(twin turbo), especially for a 4,500 pound car. Gas mileage is only average. If you are on it a good bit, the real average in town is about 15, and 22-23 highway. The trunk is massive. With the seats down, I was able to haul a 46 inch TV, a 50 inch TV stand, and a 50 inch sound bar with room to spare.

I have a 2011 Taurus Limited, purchased at 110,000 miles, now is just over 230k still going strong. As long as you do not dog the car, and maintain oil changes according to the schedule the car will last much beyond that.

Large trunk, great feel and drivability. Paddle shifters are cool and fun to use. Love the cooled seats and the tuxedo black compliments the chrome rims nicely. Navigation display is much more user friendly than the current Taurus dash panels.
