Performace - Acceleration && handling is amazing!! Turning radious is awesome && ride is very smooth.. But the braking is a little 'slow'.. Build Quality - Everyone knows that the body would sooner rust right off before the motor quits.. TOYOTA rules the road && the trails!! Appearence - Exterior is okay.. Find the fenders are a little odd looking.. Interior is amazing!! We love everyhting from the leather && heated seats to just sheer amount of room.. Only thing I thought was strange is the E-brake && the I don't like the turning dial for the 2H 2L 4H 4L.. I'm old school && love the manual all the way && like the mini manual shifter for this application as well.. Cost of Ownership - I'll let you know once the warranty is up && we've hit the 400,000km && have finally broken it in.. Fun Factor - This truck is kick ass to drive on && off road.. We just love it's capabilities to go anywhere!!

I like everything about this truck except the original price. Has plenty of get up and go and lots of room for storage/cargo. The ride is a little bouncy and you do feel the road. All in all a great truck.

This is my 3rd Tacoma and I have loved them all. They have plenty of power for the average person. Granted, if you are going to be towing heavy loads this isn't the vehicle for you, small loads are ok. The ride is phenomenal and is definitely suitable for a long trip.
