Forty years after the Ford Motor Company successfully took on Ferrari at Le Mans with the original GT40 race car, the company fesurrects the mid-engine supercar as the 2005 Ford GT, built as part of the automaker’s 100th anniversary celebrations.
America’s sports car might be the Chevy Corvette, but with the arrival of the new 2005 Ford GT, Michigan finally produces a true supercar. Hand-built in limited quantities, the mid-engined GT aims to cement Ford’s status as a global automaker capable of building every new car from commercial trucks and affordable grocery-getters to lustworthy exotics.

(20 reviews)Wonderful car that has been my dream car since the original cars won races in the mid to late 60s. This car is a perfect road car that salutes the GT-40 and Fords 100th Anniversary!
The ford GT is an awesome with no exception with 220 BHP, a 5.7 litre supercharged V-8 engine which has a Power to weight ratio of, 0.36 bhp / kg. It's top speed is 330kmh nd 205 mph
This car is one of the finest sports cars I've ever driven. Mine was customized by Hennesy and is outrageous.
very fast and stylish, shifts smooth
the steering is too loose. the car is capacious for two but no more. but it cost alot to maintain. It was expensive to buy considering it was only made for two years but i think it was worth it.
