Used 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE for Sale near Embrun, ON

its a great light duty full size pickup truck

I just bought this pickup a few months ago from Canada. It has 240,000 kilometers on it ( 148,800 miles) and is still running strong. This pickup has the 4.8 liter gas engine that has a surprising amount of power. I have put an aftermarket throttle body spacer and K&N air intake on it which has improved both poer and fuel economy. I get between 19 and 20 mpg on the highway.

my green machine, has great get up and a nice sound system. it is great on highway gas mileage but driving around town is a killer. sometimes with the slide system it has on the inside, makes it a pain to deal with while trying to pick up speed, cuz you have to wait until the truck feels it has enough tracking on the tires before you can get back to normal driving.

My first choice was a diesel but didnt have enough money so i contently settled with a 1500 V8. Unfortunately i could only find the 4.8l engine where as I would have liked to be driving the 5.3 1500. Having said that, I am rather pleased with the toughness and power of my 4.8, as i originally used it for landscaping (trailer towing, hauling rocks-exceeding the limit a bit but with no problem at all, ripping out bushes and smaller trees, and putting it through some mud).
