did not spend a dime on it other than normal tires,breaks,oil changes. Near the end I had to have the rusted out rear shock mounts repaired by a welder but the car had seen 11 good years by then. We toted around three kids and the dog plus supplies for trips to the cottage and it served us well. When the kids were younger and our cottage was farther away we had a Marquis Wagon, then a Taurus Wagon,then we bought a cottage closer to home and the kids got older and didn't always come along but when they did - we still all fit (not quite the same as a Marquis but for it's size it was excellent.) I know they stopped making the Escort but if you are planning to buy one just check rear shock mounts (rusting was apparently common)

I love This Car! Maybe She Have 10 Years but She Don't Have Any Reairs Needed. She Does 50 MPg (See By Yours If You Don't Trust Me..) And This Car Is Very fun To Drive. She's Rare Because Of Her Color, Champagne
