If anyone thinks these things are gutless, then they aren't driving them properly. Better yet, modify the intake (as I've done) to get better air flow and the top end gets better. Soundly defeating my mates falcon in a standing start straight line isn't too bad. Get better tyres on the thing and alot of the understeer nasties tend to fade, and in corners, leave it in 3rd instead of going back to 2nd. More torque in the midrange. Strong enough engine for a 1100kg car.
