Used Dodge Neon for Sale near Newfoundland and Labrador

This lil' car was underestimated, Compared to my Plymouth it was a Cadillac, but that's besides the point. It had decent acceleration, the handling wasn't too bad either, I had mine Autocross racing and it was extremely fun to drive. The Neons of this generation had a major problem with head gaskets going out because the factory put less than quality head gaskets in the car to begin with. After that the only problem I had was that I had to replace the radiator, partially due to the head gasket problem and the way I drove the car (which wasn't very nice.) With no modifications, I had this car from 0-115 in less than 1.5 miles. I traded it in when I got my S-10.

Fun to drive, looks nice, is quick for the price & fuel mileage.

The first car I ever bought was a slightly-used (it had about 2,000 miles on it) 1997 Dodge Neon coupe. It had the more powerful engine option and a rear spoiler (which didn't seem to make it go faster, really), but as my dad described it, "It feels like the engine is powered by rubber bands."

accelerates very nicely, brakes exellent, handles like a hot wheels. very few things go wrong with it except for scheduled maitanence, no squeaks or rattles. looks somewhat sporty, interior could look a little better. excelent mpg's, low maitanence cost. FUN!!!

Pretty nice car. Big difference between 96 and 97! I like that it has a sporty look to it. I got it used but it is in great condition and have not needed to put any work into it yet. If you need a starter car this is the way to go. You can find them pretty low in price.
