I have the 1.4 and it goes quite well. build quality is ok for a 15 year old car. appearance is ok, not amazing. Cost is ok, i spend about £30 a week on petrol and get around 200/250 miles out of it.

cheap pocket rocket. Getting harder to find nice ones. They all rust in the same places. But once treated they will go on for ever, if looked after

Yep, I changed instructors to BSM and passed on my first attempt with them. I think they owe a lot of their success to the Corsa, it really is an easy car to drive and is perfect for learners!

There was nothing on this car, not even a cigarette lighter, a mirror in the sun visor or a door for the glove box. Thats how basic it was. It servied me well though

My dad got me my 1.2, 3 door corsa 'Elvis' for my 17th to learn in and also use as my first car when I passed. He cost 1800 and has NEVER let me down in all these years. He will run on fumes, is easy to handle and I fully recommend a corsa as a first car but can also understand people owning them just because. He looks great as he is but they make good mod cars too.
