The S10 is a very good truck platform, especially for younger drivers. The 2.8 is a very good engine that can last for many good miles. Overall performance is good, and with a performance clutch, it can be very fun to drive. The only drawback that I have seen is the lighter load capabilities, where I am used to bigger trucks. This is the second '91 S10 that I have had. They are very easy to work on and the aftermarket products are abundant to make it "yours".

i like everything about the truck although it does have alot of miles on it, it still gets me from place to place, and no noises, no engine rebuilds, no trans rebuild, all original, it does hall a** when you stomp it down. IT IS NOT FOR SALE

I tle-body fuel injection systemdont like the drum rear brakes;but, it stops just fine. the suspention and steering geometry make this little beast handle exceptionally well;the combo of the 2.8 v6, 5speed trans and throttle-body fuel injection system makes it a fast, fun to drive machine. The entire package is like some kind of happy accident; GM really got it right on this little machine I have oiwned much nicer vehicles, but none that I have loved or respected more.This little thing just seems to have no limits.

I loved this truck and kinda wish i still had it esp when it snowed out or going off road with 4x4. Was easy to work on. Hauled stuff great. I hauled bricks, mulch, pool table, furnature. Long bed came in handy with a couch. Didn't need many repairs. Gas mileage was decent for a truck 19-21 city 27 highway. People always thought it was a nice truck.

The performing aspect of the truck is this simple...It's not made to go fast... Build quality is fair. Appearance is incredible for being a 91! Very fun to drive! It's a 5 speed so its like driving a big go cart!
