high acceleration, quick response all the power i need the handling is ok but it is very top heavy especially when cornering at 70+mph, but i love this truck best truck ive ever owned just wish it was 4x4

This truck when i bought it had a 225 slant six with a four speed standard. after the Tranny blew we put it to a four speed auto. after a while and much gas usage i dropped in a 318 and man does this truck go. man dad lifted the front tires about 6 inches off the ground in this heavy monster.

great truck but only used it to haul scrap and to move some friends. it was going to cost about 150 to replace the carb. it was one of those trucks that you like but didn't want to deal with the bullcrap.
