This is my favorite car I've ever owned. When you put 1984 into perspective, the performance was phenomenal with the fuel injected 302 HO V8 putting out nearly 200 HP and pushing around under 3000 pounds. The styling of the Capri was much better than the Mustang with manly fenders, deep and menacing nose and elegant fastback hatch glass. Oh, sure. It's a Ford from the 1980s, so the quality was not good. But the car had great seats, was a helluva lot of fun to drive and made you feel like a man while driving it.

The only thing I did not like about the Capri is the EGG mobile hatch other then that vary reliable and mean car there is not enough room under the hood for a high rise intake so for big plans you will need a new hood and upgrade the rear end as its hard to hook up on the street unless you really heat up the tires... all around with a little work Capri's are a great car.
