Toyota dealerships near me (Barrie, ON, CA)

It was a terrible experience. Nash called me and said the vehicle would arrive in mid-July. I went there to pay the deposit, but the staff informed me that the vehicle was sold yesterday. I wasted half a day.

The salesperson was very friendly, but their listed pricing was not as the advertised. They told me all vehicles on their website are $1000 more than their price and it’s written on all listings. Also, I had to pay more if I don’t finance even I prefer paying cash. I would have to pay extra $3000 more if I pay it up front. They also suggested that if I do rust protection it’ll bring my interest rate down from 9.9% to 7.9% which I think it’s pretty high for someone doesn’t want finance. The night we came pickup the vehicle I arrived around 7:15pm and they closed at 8, I felt rushed signing all documents coz they said they had ppl waiting in lines. I didn’t receive much of car demonstrations before we were sent home.

The whole process was horrible. I went in trying to trade in my SUV. I spent 4 hours there and was told by the staff that they would let me know if I got approved from the bank, left and never heard back from them. Then a day after I received an email saying the car had been sold. No communication from the staff. Just a horrible experience.

Poor communications. Had initial contact with sales person. Then would not return my calls or email.

Price was way over MSRP and the car had 9,700KMS. Made an offer to buy at MSRP but was not even brought to the manager. I was shut down. Not happy with this result. I understand it has a few options but at the end of the day it is a used car not new.

Excellent customer service. They are all the way wants to satisfy the customers. But prices are little higher than other dealers.

The salesman, Sam, and the manager were both very nice and professional!

In short, I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. This dealership is a rip off and waste other people’s time. Not sure how they survive by doing this to the customers. Over the phone dealership confirmed the vehicle is available and appointment confirmed on the same day in next 3 hours or so. Drove to the dealership which is 2 hours drive and found that the vehicle is not available. A customer has to place an order which May take 2-3 months. MSRP price on the paper shows $5000 more because the dealership don’t want to pass on the $5000 rebate to the consumer from manufacturer. The manager is so egoistic that he doesn’t want to apologise and not want to take the ownership of the mistake. Stay away from this dealership.
