Dealerships near me (Acton, ON, CA)

Value of my trade in - a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited convertible in very good condition which I purchased privately two years ago for 15,000 dollars and should be currently worth at least 10,000.00 was offered only half of that as an estimated auction value. To be fair, other used car dealers aloso offered values of 4000 or 5000 dollars, so they all play the same game. Needless to say, I will be continuing to enjoy my beautiful Crossfire and receiving compliments on it every time I drive it.

Driving the vehicle was pretty straight forward but communication with sales associate afterwards was zero.....she neither contacted us about the fact that the vehicle was smoking from the hood after our yest drive nor after we texted to ask the reason for the issue with the car. We purchased elsewhere.... we've noticed that they dropped the price of the car the next day.... I would assume that there's something pretty bad under the hood 🤷🏽‍♀️

I asked 3 questions: Is it available, what are it's issues, and is the carfax available. I asked these questions because the truck has been on for 277 days. I did get a response that said literally, "Hello there, the vehicle is still available. Would you like to come check it out?" So only one of my three questions were answered, and I could argue that it was the least important one at that. So I gave three stars for communication because I did get a reply and 1/3 questions were answered, but the salesperson was just that, a salesperson only interested in selling not the transfer of information (which is an integral part of the sales process). Why would I come check it out without knowing why it's been on for 277 days? If I saw a carfax report (or was told if one was available) and had a better answer as to any potential issues with the truck that has contributed to it being on the market for 277 days then perhaps I would have checked it out knowing it was worth a look. Such is sales.

All the process purchasing a Toyota Tundra was was smooth and fast. The communication was excellent and generally very happy with this dealership.
