What’s New for the 2026 Audi Q7
The Q7 gained a number of improvements for 2025, so it carries over into 2026 largely unchanged. A redesigned Q7 is expected to land for the 2027 model year.
Design
The current Q7 design is not as round and frumpy as older models, featuring a more upright grille and boxier proportions. Audi offers a range of wheel options depending on the trim. Audi also offers unique badges and lighting elements, depending on the trim level.
Powertrain
Audi offers two engine options for the 2026 Q7. The base engine is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder, making 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. A turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine is available, which offers 335 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Audi refers to these engines as 45 TFSI and 55 TFSI, respectively. All models have an automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive (AWD) is standard.

Interior
The Q7 seats up to seven people on standard leather upholstery. Other standard features include power-adjustable heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Higher trims add heated second-row seats, ventilated front seats, and sunshades for rear occupants. Cargo space is below average, however, with 402 litres when the third-row seats are upright. That number expands to just 1,971 litres with the rear two rows folded down, leaving it behind many rivals.
Technology
Audi equips a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a dual-screen infotainment system with 10.1- and 8.6-inch screens. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with SiriusXM, Bluetooth, a 10-speaker stereo, and navigation. Audi’s two-screen solution can be confusing at first, but the system is responsive and both touchscreen displays offer crisp, easy-to-see graphics.
Safety
The 2026 Audi Q7 hasn’t been crash-tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). It comes standard with a good number of driver assistance features, including blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, parking sensors, rain sensing wipers, and more. Audi also offers a head-up display, automated parking assistance, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view camera system.

Pricing and Release Date
As of the time of this writing, the 2026 Audi Q7 starts at $82,815, not including a $2,850 destination charge or other fees. Adding the six-cylinder engine to the base trim costs $5,000, and the top Q7 Technik trim costs $95,065. All models are available on Audi Canada’s website now.
